Digital media in vocational education in the concrete industry

Since 1 April 2016, the Basic and Further Training Organization for the Concrete and Precast Industry (BBF) in Germany has been partner to the research project BetonQuali: Informations- und Qualifikationsplatt-form.

The concrete industry employs a high share of low-skilled workers. In addition, open training positions are frequently not filled because it is difficult to find trainees for the vocation of process mechanics in the non-metallic minerals industry.
