Cage wall is granted technical approval for Germany
On June 1, 2017, the so-called “Korbwand” (cage wall) manufactured by Rapperstorfer Automation was officially approved by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt) in Berlin. The cage wall comprises a production process and a finished product: an innovative and fully automated production line, fitted with welding robots, can produce reinforcing bars for concrete walls to measure and in lot size 1, and weld them together to form flat reinforcement cages.
