Betontage – 60 years of knowledge leadership for the industry
Dear visitors of the 60th BetonTage,
There is indeed something special about anniversaries, which provide the opportunity to look back on one’s achievements and to celebrate them. But wouldn’t it be much more appropriate to look forward and capture the trends likely to determine our way of living and the building of tomorrow? The latter has always been the underlying motivation of the BetonTage, which has long evolved from a continuing training event for a small group of people to Europe’s largest congress of the concrete and precast industries. On the other hand, you will find that we do honor our tradition because we have been hosting this event for more than 30 years in the “concrete bowl” of the Edwin-Scharff-Haus congress center, and this venue has also become an integral part of our brand.
A brand that has attained an even higher international profile since 2014 because of our BetonTage asia congress whose second edition was successfully held in 2015 in Shanghai. What we focus on not only in the Far East but particularly in Europe are innovations that will change and optimize the way we build tomorrow whilst making it more sustainable.
In 2016, the 60th BetonTage edition will provide the perfect platform for the entire industry to discuss exactly those innovations that are necessary to master current and future challenges. All market partners – from equipment manufacturers and other suppliers to architects and engineers – will join their forces and attend the event that will showcase the academic excellence of leading researchers, prime examples from operational practice, presentations and hands-on workshops, but also outstanding pieces of architecture built from the material of the 21st century.
