Innovative heating solutions for precast plants

Finnish based Polarmatic Oy is a developer and supplier of innovative heating, automation and measurement solutions for the concrete industry. Polarmatic’s Turbomatic™ thermal energy unit is developed to solve all heating and heat treatment needs in concrete mixing plants and associated precast concrete factories.

The Turbomatic fulfils the following main functions in the concrete production process: melting of frozen aggregates, pre-heating and heating of aggregates in receiving hoppers, storage silos and bins and generation of all the hot water needed in the concrete manufacturing process (e.g. the supply of hot dosing water to scale etc.). In precast concrete factories, this thermal energy unit is also capable of producing all the thermal energy (either as hot water or curing steam) required for process purposes. The system can also be utilized to handle all other mixing plant and associated precast...
