Apply for the Innovation Prize!
The application phase for the 2026 Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components is now open. Sought are innovative products, processes, and services that improve the manufacture of concrete components and concrete products, save time and money in the production process and/or contribute to an optimized construction process. The complete application documents must be submitted in digital form no later than December 10, 2025 (for a detailed report, see pp. 67).
This Innovation Prize is jointly sponsored by FBF Betondienst GmbH, organizer of BetonTage, and your trade journal BFT International Concrete Plant + Precast Technology. Eligible to apply are companies active in the machinery, software, and supplier industries, as well as research institutions with new developments for the precast industry in the fields of manufacturing technology and product handling, machinery and plant engineering, reinforcement and fastening technology, concrete technology, automation or services.
The market maturity of the innovation must lie between 2023 and 2026. Key selection criteria include the degree of innovation and the creativity of the proposal, its relevance to the precast industry and to the core processes of the sector, and its market and application potential.
The winner will be announced on March 10, 2026, at the 70th BetonTage, the largest trade congress for the precast industry, in Ulm.
The most recent winner Sonocrete GmbH from Cottbus, Germany, won out over no fewer than 22 competitors in March 2024 and impressed the expert jury with its high-performance ultrasonic premixing plant (see also BFT 06/2024).
