The Big 5 Saudi will return to the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events in from 10 - 13 March, 2019 - organiser dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa has confirmed.
Next year’s edition of the major construction tradeshow will cover five dedicated product zones: The Big 5 Heavy, HVAC R, The Big 5 Solar, Urban Design & Landscaping, and Smart Cities. More than 13,000 visitors flocked to the 2018 event to see over 280 exhibitors from around the world.
“We were delighted to see great international participation at this year’s edition with exhibitors representing more than 20 countries,” said Roni El Haddad, event director for The Big 5 Saudi. “Next year it will be our mission to bring decision makers even closer to relevant suppliers by offering five dedicated product zones across the floorplan.”
Construction in Saudi is in the spotlight following news of mega-urban developments such as NEOM and The Red Sea Tourism Project, as well as social reforms that welcome a fresh commercial entertainment industry.
In light of these projects, Saudi Arabia’s Building Technology Stimulus Fund (Strategic Partner) said at the event that building technology is vital where ambitious urban development goals are concerned.
“By using building technologies, developers and contractors can improve quality and reduce both cost and time,” said general director of Building Technology Program, Mohammad Faisal Bin Moammar.
Hussein Hassan, country manager for exhibiting brand Rheem, said: “In our 5th year at The Big 5 Saudi we have seen diversity across both exhibitors and visitors. We found exactly what we came for, and we will definitely come back next year and the year after that.”
