RIB Software presents three new products at DigitalBau in Cologne

Under the motto “Connecting solutions,” RIB Software will present a total of three new products at DigitalBau in Cologne from March 24 to 26. During the trade fair for digital transformation in the construction industry, the Stuttgart-based construction software company will unveil its new products, which promise end-to-end construction processes from planning to operation, at booth no. 424 in hall 8 on March 25 at 2:00 p.m. RIB will announce innovations in electronic tendering, in calculation, which is supported by artificial intelligence (AI) for the first time in the new version, and in collaboration between project participants along the construction value chain.
New products for integrated construction processes
With RIB TenderConnect, the software manufacturer is laying the foundation for end-to-end processes along the construction value chain. The integration enables seamless integration of the tender process with one of the largest subcontractor networks in the DACH region, with more than 160,000 subcontractors. According to RIB, the familiar interfaces can be used to publish tender units, including service specifications, deadlines, and attachments, with a single click and to obtain quotes/price inquiries digitally. The responses flow back into the price comparison list without media discontinuity, in a process that is fully GAEB*-compliant.
The new generation of the calculation module for RIB 4.0 integrates AI directly into daily workflows, ensuring greater efficiency and security. According to the manufacturer, the AI provides support for calculators in tasks related to quotation and cost planning as well as in the evaluation of alternatives. In addition, a further country-specific version for the Austrian market is planned for the coming year.
With the new collaboration solution, RIB is expanding its portfolio with a central component for collaboration throughout the entire construction process. Project participants and their respective tasks are directly linked to each other, which is intended to ensure significantly accelerated collaboration in real time—across company boundaries. According to RIB, this new solution for offices, construction sites, and partner companies is equipped with an AI assistant that supports task assignment and organization as well as searching for and finding project information. Thanks to smart version control, the program ensures that all project partners are always working with the latest version of a plan or document. All processes and changes are documented in the system, allowing individual work steps to be traced at any time. This is an important basis for traceable, legally compliant work.
