Successful recycling of construction waste and precast concrete production under one roof

Half a century after the company foundation, the Büscher concrete plant based in Heek in the Münsterland region of Germany is aiming at increasing the fields of application for recycled concrete by testing and developing the use of very fine-grained, mixed construction wastes for precast concrete elements for the first time.

What began in the small village of Heek in the Münsterland region about half a century ago in a rather contemplative manner has developed to a nationwide, even international success story down to the present day.

Quite recently, the precast concrete plant managed in the second generation by the brothers, Hans-Jürgen and Wolfgang Büscher, has been supported by the German Federal Environment Foundation (DBU – Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) for a recycling project.
