Official opening ceremonies at the new factory
in Ras Al Khaimah

The official opening ceremonies of Peikko´s new factory in the United Arab Emirates, Peikko Gulf LLC, were held on the 18th of February 2020.

The finnish supplier Peikko was honored to have several distinguished guests, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Chairman Rakez (Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone), Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Managing Director of Rakez, Mr. Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of Rakez and Mrs. Marianne Nissilä, Ambassor from the Embassy of Finland in Abu Dhabi, to perform the official opening of the factory. In addition, more than 200 other guests including e.g. customers, co-operation partners, and authorities attended the opening ceremonies.

Staff of some 100 persons

Peikko Gulf is manufacturing in Ras Al Khaimah both precast connections and Deltabeam composite beams with its staff of some 100 persons. Peikko’s offering in the Middle East is unique, and with opportunities given by the new facilities, it can meet customers’ tight delivery time requirements and provide solid technical support from the modern offices.

“Peikko’s presence in the Middle East area goes already back more than ten years. The construction project of the new premises was successful, and we now have a brand new production capacity to serve our customers”, says Radovan Endel, General Manager, Peikko Gulf LLC.
