 Well-organized processes ensure high product quality. This clear and simple statement is at the very heart of the DIN EN ISO 9000 standard that supports businesses in their effort to establish a systematic quality management scheme across the entire process chain.

When processing concrete mixes, the actual mixing process that forms part of the entire process chain is of paramount importance. With the aim of achieving a mix design that ensures the specified product characteristics, the „mixing“ process should convert the individual raw materials to a homogeneous, reproducible state. When using natural materials such as gravel, basalt or sand, or in the case of industrially manufactured products such as cement, fluctuations in the quality of the input materials also result in variations in the mix and thus in the quality of the finished product....
