(57) An adjustment mechanism for a brace for supporting a concrete form (ICF) is disclosed. The adjustment mechanism has a casing portion 210, a manipulable body 214, 216 housed within the casing portion, and a retaining body 218 housed within the casing. The manipulable body extends through an opening of the casing portion and is coupled to the outrigger. The adjustment mechanism is manipulable by a single user located on the platform to reposition the outrigger to adjust a plumb of the concrete form. Also claimed is a brace (100, Fig 1) which includes a strongback (104, Fig 1) couplable to an insulated concrete form (114, Fig 1), a platform (102, Fig 1) coupled to the strongback, and an outrigger (110, Fig 1). The brace includes the adjustment mechanism 108.
