Precast concrete elements for the energy transition – Part I: wind power plants
By 2015, up to 45 % of the German gross electricity consumption are to be covered by renewable energy, such as wind or solar energy, for example. Part 1 of our series gives examples for the application of precast concrete elements for wind power plants.
Since the introduction of the Renewable Energy Source Act (EEG) in 2000, there is the political intention in Germany to join climate protection and energy politics through the specific expansion of the renewable energy industry. The aim is to establish Germany as a worldwide forerunner in ecology and climate protection.
