The Chamtech Rollcov-RTM System

Retractable Curing Enclosure

Chamtech Systems (Montreal, Canada) manufactures the Rollcov-RTM retractable curing system. This system was developed, primarily, for the outdoor precast industry to cover long girder production forms. Recently, this Roll-
cov-RTM has been put to the test by precast pipe plants to investigate its environmental control and energy efficiency.

Many curing tent tarpaulins require a great amount of care and maintenance to avoid ripping and tearing. The Rollcov-RTM is virtually maintenance free. Its freestanding, self-supporting design and, manual operation guarantee that the shell will not snag on any sharp objects when being operated. Tears in curing tent walls lead to heat loss and an uneven distribution of heat and humidity within the curing volume. This, in turn, reduces the consistency in quality from one precast component to another.

All Rollcov-RTMs come standard with a vapor-proof, fire-retardant, PVC shell.  This seamless...
