First 75-liter vacuum mixer to offer process data processing

Mixers offering process data processing, formerly called mixers with intelligent control system or college control, are now in use at more than ten colleges and universities in Germany and Austria. First launched on the market in 2005, process data processing allows the mixing process to be quantitatively recorded and described.
 

Concrete standards require a mixing process to continue „until the mixture appears homogeneous“. This does not establish an objective reproducibility. When manufacturing simple concretes, field experience ensures an approximate uniformity. When new concretes are developed, it is not possible to resort to experience values.
