New production line put into service
Several months ago, the company UAB “Markucˇiai” located in Vilnius, Lithuania, put an all-new production line into service that had been supplied by Ebawe Anlagentechnik GmbH. The engineering company delivered a turnkey carrousel system complete with a mesh welding unit to manufacture extensive precast elements.
The closed stock corporation “Markucˇiai” is one of the largest Lithuanian manufacturers of standard and custom precast elements (Fig. 1). Drawing upon over 50 years of experience, the precast producer has become one of the leading manufacturers of building materials, ready-mixed concrete and precast products. As part of a reconstruction project, the precast element production has been separated from the delivery area for building and raw materials.
