Every two years, the Professional Development Association for Concrete and Precast Manufacturers (bbf) organizes a study tour abroad in collaboration with the Association of Former Ulm Master Students.
The event is designed to facilitate professional exchange and international networking within the industry. From May 10 to 13, 2026, the trip will take place in Austria. The country’s precast concrete industry is distinguished by innovative small-to-medium-sized structures and a high level of technological expertise.
Participants can look forward to a diverse professional program offering exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the country’s leading companies.
The following facilities, among others, will be visited:
- Alfred Trepka GmbH, Obergrafendorf
- Josef Lehner GmbH, Amstetten
- MABA Fertigteilindustrie GmbH, Gerasdorf
- Mischek Systembau GmbH, Gerasdorf
- Oberndorfer Hybrid Systems GmbH, Gars am Kamp.
In addition to technical input and best-practice examples, a varied accompanying program will be offered around Vienna, one of Europe’s most culturally rich metropolises.
This not only serves as cultural enrichment but also creates a suitable setting for personal discussions and in-depth networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
