Corporate group Klebl acquires freight forwarder Theodor Diepold

At the beginning of this year, the staff and vehicle fleet of freight forwarder Diepold have become part of the Klebl corporate group within the context of a corporate succession: for several decades, Diepold has primarily transported precast concrete elements from Klebl’s headquarters in Lähr near Neumarkt. Since the beginning of 2023, the company has been operating as part of Michael Klebl GmbH & Co. KG under the name of Klebl Transport GmbH.
Dominik Woller has been managing director of the newly founded Klebl Transport GmbH since October 2022. Previously, he was head of department at Klebl Baulogistik GmbH, where he and his team have been responsible for the company’s own transports and for all third-party transport services within the corporate group. Now he additionally manages Klebl Transport GmbH. Against the background of a shortage of transport capacities in the market and the need to guarantee supply security and efficiency, the takeover is a logical and deliberate step taken by the Klebl group.
