At Glatthaar Keller, we believe that together we are strong. Project managers and partner companies work hand in hand to ensure the success of every construction project. They are a well-coordinated team on the construction site who can rely on each other—because coordinated cooperation and communication on an equal footing are prerequisites for quality.

The project manager training and the partner and quality days at the beginning of the year are central components of this joint success story and an expression of Glatthaar Keller's self-image. They are a conscious sign of recognition for the daily commitment of the project managers and partner companies – because the highest quality is achieved through continuous exchange, mutual appreciation, and the pursuit of excellence. Managing Director Dirk Wetzel: “Our partner companies are much more than just service providers to us. They are part of our team and play a decisive role in ensuring that we meet our high quality standards on construction sites every day.”

Sharing responsibility – ensuring quality

Project managers and partner companies share responsibility for customer satisfaction and smooth implementation on the way to the dream home. The partner companies implement the specifications of the project managers and the technical department. Interaction is crucial – and is strengthened through targeted training courses and events. The trainers from the partner companies play an important role in this: they act as a link, train the partner companies and are actively involved in both the project manager training courses and the partner and quality days.

Exchange and further training as a seal of quality

The project manager training took place for the tenth time in a row in 2026. Over three days, 120 employees from the Schramberg, Simmern, and Weißenfels branches, as well as from Switzerland and England, came together. Participants included project managers, specialists, technicians, work preparation and calculation staff, and trainers from partner companies – together with managers. The focus was on intensive, cross-branch exchange and further training that went far beyond traditional training courses.

In workshops and lectures, processes were analyzed, successes reflected upon, and potential for improvement identified – always with the aim of learning from mistakes. The topics ranged from the correct handling of road closures to innovations relating to hybrid floor slabs and the implementation of current standards. The latest technology news also provided insights into new developments and innovations, while practical issues in the field of statics were examined and discussed in depth.

"The exchange of technical and content-related experiences is extremely important. Each branch contributes its own topics and solutions that can be valuable to others. New employees also get to know each other, which strengthens the sense of unity," says Dirk Wetzel. At Glatthaar Keller, project managers have overall responsibility for each construction project – from the initial construction meeting to the work planning and implementation to the final acceptance.

Working together for the highest standards

The annual partner and quality days take place at various locations and are aimed at partner companies as well as managers and technical staff at Glatthaar Keller. Partner companies work on the construction sites and are largely responsible for implementing quality standards during cellar installation. Depending on the branch, between 30 and 75 people took part in the events.

Current topics were also the focus of the partner days, in particular occupational safety, new methods of execution, and quality assurance in cellar construction. “Personal exchange is very important,” emphasizes Dirk Wetzel, “because you can always learn from the experiences of others.”

The quality days provide space for open discussions, professional exchange, and training. Together, we reflect: Where does Glatthaar Keller stand in terms of quality? Where is there room for improvement? Another focus is on continuously adapting to changing standards and the ever-growing requirements of customers.

Best partner companies honored

One of the highlights of this year's Partner Days was once again the award ceremony for outstanding partner companies. This award recognizes commitment and continuous improvement in the areas of innovation and quality—it is both an acknowledgment and an incentive to continue striving for excellence.
