New hardening accelerator Sika Rapid-900

From March 10 to 12, Ulm will host BetonTage, Europe‘s largest trade congress for the concrete industry. Sika Deutschland CH AG & Co. KG will be presenting its expertise in concrete construction at stand 79 and introducing a new hardening accelerator, SikaRapid-900. The strength development of high-performance concrete requires the utmost precision: the SikaRapid range enables exact adaptation to individual requirements and applications.

SikaRapid accelerator technology shortens the hardening time of concrete and mortar with rapid strength development and supports construction projects, especially in low temperatures, tight schedules, and complex requirements. In developing the entire range, the Stuttgart-based company draws on its extensive application experience and in-depth concrete technology expertise. This results in tailor-made solutions for the diverse challenges of modern construction practice.

Sustainable and tailor-made solutions for every requirement

The new SikaRapid-900 is used in applications involving steel and prestressed concrete in precast plants with the highest requirements for early strength development.

SikaRapid-210 enables reliable processing of concrete and reinforced concrete in ready-mix concrete, even at cold temperatures.

SikaRapid C-100 shortens formwork removal times, facilitates the processing of concrete and reinforced concrete at cold temperatures, and reduces heat treatment in ready-mix and precast plants.

All three products also facilitate the use of clinker-reduced cements with lower CO₂ emissions and are compatible with common concrete systems and mixes.
