New FPC sample manual for precast concrete elements

The factory production control system consists of regular inspections and tests, documentation and availability of test results, regulations on responsibilities and powers for personnel, and steps to be taken in the event of non-compliance.
The insprection schemes contain information on:

test subject (what is being tested),

test method (how is the test performed),

test purposes (why is the test performed),

test frequencies (how often is the test performed),

responsibilities (who performs the test).

The FDB sample manual for factory production control is intended to help manufacturers of structural precast concrete elements to set up or optimize their factory production control system. The 2nd edition, published in 2025, has been completely revised, incorporating changes based on the new DIN 1045 series of standards and feedback from users.

The FPC sample manual is intended to provide responsible employees with a tool for proper documentation. The FPC sample manual is not intended to be a rigid set of rules, but rather to be adapted individually by the manufacturer.

The FPC sample manual contains the inspections and tests required by the technical regulations, supplemented by references to standards. Comments and explanations are intended to facilitate the application and implementation of the manual. The appendices list all cited standards and guidelines and contain Excel sheets for further processing.
