Eurobend is specialized in efficient and pioneering welding machines offering one of the best overall solutions for every precast application. Especially the PL XY AMM series is offering fully automatic operation, eliminating all manual adjustments and producing standard as well as customized mesh sheets of any complexity (with openings for wall panels, with different lengths within the same mesh etc).
The Eurobend machines, equipped with innovative high-end features, sophisticated electronics, computer software and hardware with a redundant storage system to eliminate production downtimes due to hard disk defects or data loss and an interface for the exchange of production data in various industry formats (such as „BVBS“, „Unitechnik” and others), are easy to use and, thanks to their well thought-out modular construction, also easy to maintain. The PL XY AMM is a unique high-end automatic mesh welding line, which works directly from coil, enabling to fully automate the production of customized reinforcement mesh for wall panels and special pre-cast products.
The PL XY AMM machines produce mesh with maximum diameter up to Ø16mm for both, line and cross wires. They are equipped with two independently moving welding blocks, with total of 8 welding points. The produced mesh can have minimum line wire spacing of 50 mm (and above, in steps of 50 mm) and minimum cross wire spacing of 50mm (or above infinitely programmable) for all diameters. Any mesh with the above characteristics can be produced instantly, one type after the other, without any adjustments, as everything is controlled by the machine’s software.
High-end welding machines
The PL XY AMM can produce mesh of up to 4,5m wide and 12m long. There are no downtimes when changing wire coils, line and cross wire spacing, diameters or mesh dimensions. Separate compartments for each de-coiling station allows new coil feeding during machine operation ensuring continuous production.
Any mesh can be produced instantly, one type after the other, without any manual adjustments or human intervention. All product changes are controlled and immediately executed by the machine’s computer program.
The wire feeding is done through two independent rotor straightening and cutting machines of the MELC Flexiline series using Eurobend‘s 5G maintenance free rotor (patent) with hyperbolically profiled rollers and the patented wire convergence system ensuring perfect straightening and length accuracies and allowing automatic diameter changes within the same mesh within 2-3 seconds. Thus, up to six different line wire and six different cross wire diameters can be welded within the same mesh. The produced mesh is removed automatically through a mesh stacking and roller conveyor system.
The PL XY AMM welding line can be equipped with different configurations of bending stations in order to automatically bend the line and cross wire overhands, depending on the mesh characteristics. Automatic mesh handling and buffering systems according to the customer’s individual requirements are available.
