The FILIGRAN® construction system has become firmly anchored in building construction – in particular, FILIGRAN® floor slabs as synonyms for a remarkable cost-efficient reinforced-concrete construction method with proven advantages.

The company FILIGRAN® Trägersysteme GmbH & Co. KG has decisively contributed to the development of this construction method. It has lent its name for nearly 70 years to support the higher-ranking interests of this industry in the most diverse ways – in work in pattern-setting bodies, associations and committees.

The company develops, manufactures and markets a range of lattice girders for a great variety of applications. The product portfolio has been expanded by in-house designed FDB FILIGRAN® punching shear reinforcement, straightened reinforcing steel as well as reinforcing steel and reinforcing wires in coils.

The company’s team of engineers and supporting specialists is available for technical consultations, and it supplements the performance spectrum of the firm FILIGRAN® Trägersysteme GmbH & Co. KG.

FDB FILIGRAN® punching shear reinforcement was specifically developed for use in FILIGRAN® flat slabs. This special-purpose reinforcement, approved according to European Technical Assessment (ETA), currently demonstrates the greatest punching shear resistance among comparable products on the market.

The advantages of the FDB FILIGRAN® punching shear reinforcement excel both in semi-precast construction and in conventional in-situ concrete application. The potential increase in supportable vertical loads to more than double the additional possibilities for optimization of the component – beginning with the structural design and concept development phases. These optimization possibilities include concrete quality, degree of reinforcement of the flexural reinforcement, construction costs, construction time and the like.

 

ProFi design software

In floor plates for floor systems, FDB further provides the bond between precast floor plate and in-situ concrete and moreover permits an adjustment of the interval between the precast floor slab and columns.

The product is supported by the company-developed ProFi design software. Simple to use, it offers sure verification of the structural design, beginning already in the planning phase during development of the design concept.
