Tribus plug-in system for walls and more brought to the market

With its Tribus system, the company Ehl AG, according to its own statement, brings to the market the first concrete block throughout Europe with plug-in system for individual landscaping. The innovative product consists of a total of four main components and combines practical handling with modern design – whether for walls, stairs, garden beds or individual creative design in gardens and on patios.

This innovation on the European market consists of its unique plug-in system, according to Ehl. Endlessly versatile constructions can be created from hollowcore basic blocks  with visually attractive facing. For this function, the facing blocks are simply pushed into the basic block via a tongue-and-groove system or fixed in place with plug connectors. Appropriate matching cover plates provide the finishing touch.

Ergonomics, freedom of ideas and exclusiveness

The ingenious shapes of the individual Tribus elements not only considerably reduce the weight of the system and therefore enable simple handling, but also offer in this way more flexibility of design. In particular, it is child’s play to implement several rows behind each other or next to each other: e.g., for platforms or seating surfaces. With the versatile assembly options, outdoor facilities can now be designed with a matching look – from privacy screens to raised beds, all the way to staircases and fireplaces. The search for new ideas and the initial test make the inventor’s heart leap.

Words of recognition from customers during development and granting of the Plus X Award demonstrate the uniqueness and exclusiveness of the system. Based on this recognition, Tribus was able to unanimously convince the jury of experts in the categories Innovation, Quality, Functionality, Ergonomics and Ecology.

With the two different surfaces in the trendy color shades gray-anthracite nuanced, coquina and limestone nuanced, the new product fits into any outdoor facility. The familiar smooth CityPur surface complements any austere style in a classic and elegant manner. With its natural raised feel, its dummy joints and its molded edges, the Quada surface presents a timeless image in natural stone character. With the facing blocks of 40- and 60-cm length, eye-catching or classic mixed arrangements are possible.
