Save the date: 64th BetonTage with new concept
The BetonTage, the annual meeting place of the industry for manufacturers of structural concrete elements and concrete goods, and their market partners, will take place from 18 to 21 February 2020 for the 64th time. More than 2,200 participants are again expected at the largest European congress for the concrete and precast industry in Neu-Ulm, Germany.
Next year, the BetonTage will get extra time. The congress days Tuesday to Thursday will focus on the topic of innovative precasting of structural elements – accompanied, as usual, by the trade exhibition for the suppliers of the machinery, equipment and software industries. The product-specific panel discussions will provide important technical impetus. These sessions will cover all relevant segments of precast structural concrete elements and will range throughout presentations on structural precast construction, cast stone, concrete products for road, landscape and garden construction, underground and sewer construction, lightweight concrete and small wastewater treatment plants – and will include application-oriented research into concrete. The presentations and demonstrations given in the Practice Workshops focused on concrete chemistry will answer questions on everyday business operations.
On Thursday, the construction industry will have its place in the program of the BetonTage as new target group, at the interface between precasting and installation at the construction site. The Construction Industry Forum will create a platform for continued education and for exchange between construction companies and precasters.
The newly organized activities on Friday will take place under the motto Innovative Concrete in Architecture and Structural Design, and will link the program of lectures on all aspects of planning precast elements in a newly conceived exhibition. Here, presentations will take place by manufacturers of precast elements and cast stone, as well as by suppliers of raw materials, additions to concrete, concrete chemistry and surface treatment, with their innovative products and solutions.
The media partnership with Bauverlag is newly conceived as well and wide-ranging (Editorial Dr. Ulrich Lotz p. 1).
The new program will be made available beginning in October 2019 at www.betontage.de.
