Russia: Precast concrete production growing by 7.4 %

In 2013, Russian industry had been manufacturing larger quantities of almost all basic building materials and construction elements compared to the same period in 2012. This was announced by the Russian national statistics office RosStat.

The Russian precast concrete industry was as well able to increase the output. Roughly 27 million m³ of precast concrete elements had been manufactured in the twelve month of 2013. This corresponds to a growth of 7.4 % in comparison to the production volume generated in the same period of the previous year.
