New Colorfresh version for protection and wet effect

The Hebau team was more and more frequently asked: “Is your Colorfresh intensive also available without gloss effect?“ Until recently this had to be answered in the negative – very unsatisfactory, both for the sellers and for the potential customers. The majority of their customers still wanted the color-deepening effect of Colorfresh intensive, but not the gloss effect — and it’s well know that taste cannot be argued over.

The task of the Hebau development team was therefore to supplement Colorfresh intensive by a variety without gloss effect. After two and a half years of experimenting and testing, the new Colorfresh effect was finally achieved. What sounds so simple, however, was a high demanding task of concrete technology and chemistry, in particular because the stipulation that this product, the same as all other products of this Hebau product line was to be solventless.

Managing Director Marcus Herrfeld explains: “It was more than worth the effort, because all of our performance and effect specifications were exceeded, not only in our in-house tests, but also by the tests performed by selected pilot customers.
