HP 800 concrete block machines for the United Arab Emirates

As a system partner to the concrete block industry, the Frima machine manufacturing company based in Emden, Lower Saxony/Germany conceives complete systems, ranging from the concrete block machine to vibrating systems and handling systems, mixing and dosing systems through to finishing and control systems.

At the invitation of Onno Fritzen, the general manager of Frima, Silvio Schade (editor-in-chief) and Jens Maurus (senior sales manager) of BFT International have recently visited three manufacturers of concrete products in the United Arab Emirates, all of them manufacturing on Frima HP 800 systems after a retrofit. These are rugged, simple and compact concrete block and paving stone machines featuring a very strong vibration. The systems they visited were above all solutions for a medium budget, where existing systems were fundamentally upgraded by means of new equipment components or a simple semi-automatic solution realized as a production line.

Three concrete block companies upgraded in the last few years

At Khaloory, Emirates and Gulf Cement Products LLC. located in the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, Dubai, a used system was upgraded fundamentally. The plant consisted of an Omag machine as well as a Schlosser circulation and was extensively retrofitted in 2017 and 2018. With the exception of elevator and lowerator as well as the finger car and chambers, all equipment components including the mixing plant were replaced by Frima. Now, Khaloory is manufacturing their concrete blocks and paving stones on a HP 800 machine.

Immediately thereafter, Onno Fritzen and his two guests visited Al Madina Interlock Concrete Blocks Manufacturer, Al Maqta Road, in the neighboring emirate of Umm Al Quwain. The HP 800 machine supplied in 2015 has been used for manufacturing concrete blocks and paving stones since 2016.

The Al Ain facility of Berisha Al Muawin Importing and Trading L.L.C., Musaffa in Abu Dhabi was the third manufacturer of concrete products they visited in UAE. In an existing factory hall, two existing Turkish plants were replaced by a new HP 800 machine, funded by a limited budget. In this case, it is a simple HP 800 production line without rack system and without finger car. The system supplied in 2018 has been manufacturing concrete blocks and paving stones since early 2019.

Satisfied statement of the Frima general manager

Modernization took place without any problems at all three concrete block companies mentioned above. The general manager of Frima, therefore, contentedly stated: „We define ourselves by the high quality standards of our products and services. For this purpose, we rely on workmanship ‚Made in Germany‘ – produced in our own company and at our suppliers. Hence, all plant components are based on the same high quality standards, as each component counts.“

„In order to ensure this quality, all components are designed by our qualified engineers at the headquarters in Emden. Moreover, everything is produced in Germany exclusively, to some extent, by regional partners with whom we have been cooperating on a trustful basis for many years. Equipment components are assembled, tested and pre-set in our own factory. Even the final test run always takes place in our Emden-based company headquarters before the system is supplied – to whatever place in the world,“ Onno Fritzen concludes.
