Flexible, fully automated welding machines for precast concrete plants

With their well-established and innovative mesh welding lines of the PL XY and PL AMM series for the production of standard and customized wire mesh and wire mesh with openings for various precast concrete elements, Eurobend offers solutions, independent of size and application, for almost any precast concrete plant.

The Eurobend machines provided with innovative high-end features, sophisticated electronic systems, computer software and hardware with redundant storage system for the elimination of production downtimes caused by hard disk failures or data losses, as well as an interface for the exchange of production data with various industry formats (such as „BVBS“, „Unitechnik“, and others), are easy to operate as well as easy to maintain owing to their elaborate modular design.

Both machine types are characterized by a compact design, providing an appropriate solution for every performance requirement. The machines are either supplied with one or two multi-point moving welding heads, as concerns the PL XY AMM series, or fully equipped with welding heads over the entire width of the welding line, as concerns the top-of-the-range models of the PLC AMM series.

Fully automated production of standard and customized mesh

The machines produce mesh from the coil with diameters of up to Ø 20 mm for the cross wires and Ø 16 mm for the line wires. The PL XY Twin AMM models work with two moving multi-point welding heads with an output of up to 400 welding points per minute. The PLC AMM models weld up to 40 and the Twin version up to 80 cross wires per minute.

The production of different mesh types is immediately possible, without the need for any adjustments. Diameter changes require less than 3 seconds, without moving mechanical parts, thanks to the patented convergency system. The production process is controlled by the computer program of the machine.

An interface is used for the exchange of production data between the computer and the plant environment, allowing for various industry formats, such as „BVBS“, „Unitechnik“, and others. The produced mesh is removed automatically through a mesh stacking and roller conveyor system.

Both PL AMM series can also be supplied with automated bending modules for bending of the cross wires during the mesh production process and with a second bending system for crimping of the line wires as well as all wires within openings or for crimping of the line wires.

For logistics and mesh handling, the company offers customized solutions including conveyor and crane systems, in combination with mesh buffer, which are adapted to the customer‘s requirements.
