Egg-shaped pipes for combined sewer

A combined sewer has recently been rebuilt in the German city of Oldenburg. Egg-shaped reinforced-concrete pipes manufactured by Berding Beton GmbH in compliance with the quality guidelines of the FBS – the German Trade Association for Concrete Pipes and Reinforced-Concrete Pipes – were laid along approx. 560 m of the overall 705 m long construction section.
