The first colloquium of its kind will deal with the future of prestressed precast floor slabs after modification of the Model Building Code

The new type of colloquium to be held on 28 June 2016 in Braunschweig is to provide information about how prestressed precast floor slabs can be used safely also after the modification of the Model Building Code envisaged for October this year. For this purpose, high-profile speakers will outline and explain differences between the European standard and national technical approvals. They will also concentrate on the behavior of prestressed precast floor slabs under fire and provide an update on the status of the Phoenix research project.
