Bauma 2019 – Innovation for simpler handling

You cannot only have a look at, but also try the products. At this year‘s bauma in Munich, Probst, a leading manufacturer of handling equipment for building materials, will present many big and small devices which the visitors can test themselves right on site.

Innovations for paver laying

With all their developments Probst is aiming at making work easier, more ergonomic and even more efficient. In the open-air area FS.1307, the manufacturer will demonstrate all day long how easy and fast installation of even larger paving areas can be done with the aid of Probst paver laying machines. The fact that big ideas sometimes may even come along quite small is also demonstrated by the new Safeflex SF. This specific clamping device was awarded the Innovation Medal at GaLaBau 2018 – the trade fair for garden and landscape products.

A new benchmark for safety

With the aid of the new concrete pipe lifter RVD-4.5-ECO transporting, laying and joining of reinforced concrete pipes with a diameter of up to DN 1200 and a weight of up to 4.5 tons is done easily. The combination with a rotator or tiltrotator ensures easy, flexible, and safe handling with an excavator. The successful product line of Safelock pipe grabs will also be expanded by the newly developed RG-20/85-Safelock and RG-100/150-Safelock. The patented safety catch represents an extremely high level of safety when it comes to grabbing and laying of pipes.

Innovations for in-house handling

On the indoor booth of Probst in hall B1, all precast concrete experts will find a particular highlight: the electric cubing clamp ATZ-E4 with electric cylinder for transferring and packaging of complete block layers in fully automated systems. This innovative clamp has an electric drive that is working as powerful as a hydraulic one. It is moreover characterized by extremely low maintenance, a rugged design and reduced energy demand.

Focus on service

The needs of the customers have top priority at Probst. To highlight this, the Probst Service department is provided with an own area on the exhibition booth. Along with the redesigned and customer-friendly spare part catalog, there, the world of Probst Service will present new possibilities for an optimum support of the customers, thus keeping downtimes as short as possible. In addition to this little foretaste, many more exciting new developments are waiting for you at the booth of Probst GmbH – they will only be disclosed at the beginning of the trade fair.
