Applications of hot-dip galvanized reinforcing steel in accordance with Eurocode 2
The durability of reinforced-concrete members is ensured, in terms of concrete technology, by the use of a suitable concrete composition and, in terms of their structural requirements, by the choice of appropriate concrete covers, depending on exposure classes. This is regulated on the European level by the standard EN 1992-1-1 (Eurocode 2) and in Germany by DIN 1045-1:2008-08.
