60th BetonTage: For skilled workers, students, engineers
New year, new luck and new opportunities. Perhaps with a job in the precast concrete or supplier industry? At the 60th BetonTage in the German city of Neu-Ulm, you can now submit your job application: Within the context of the congress, the organizer invites participants this year for the first time to take part in a Career Forum. Companies will present their offerings as potential employers of trainees, students, engineers and career switchers at the conference site, as well as in the entrance area of the Golden Tulip Hotel – an opportunity for all interested parties to talk to potential employers in an informal setting. There will also be a workshop for HR staff. The focus will be on two questions: How can in-company HR development be successfully implemented? And what does utilization of potential signify for the motivation of company staff? Make use of this opportunity – as employee or as employer – and drop in at the Career Forum at the BetonTage.
Beginning in 2016, we at BFT also plan a little something new in the journal’s “In Germany” section. Beginning with this issue, we will regularly publish the standpoint section called “Position.” This will take place in close collaboration with our partners, the associations of the German precast concrete industry – BetonBauteile Bayern, SLG, FBF, Fachverband Beton- und Fertigteilwerke Sachsen/Thüringen, and FDB. “Position” is the standpoint taken by these industry organizations on a current topic of the precast industry. Since this position will sometimes have a European dimension and because national topics of the EU countries and European topics are all but impossible to separate in many cases, we will publish “Position” in English as well.
