myWood/Rettenmeier: UPplus production taken over
The company myWood takes over with immediate effect all of the machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of UPplus brand production boards for concrete products now installed in the Rettenmeier plant in the German city of Gaildorf. The company, which has already been under the management of Philipp Rettenmeier since 2012, has now taken over the Rettenmeier plant Polomka Timber in Slovakia. It is he only myWood plant.
The many years of experience of Helmut Rettenmeier, Sr. and the fact that he was in charge of the planning and erection of the plant in the Slovak city of Polomka will ensure that the UPplus brand boards will satisfy the same quality standards as the Rettenmeier boards.
Ideal round out
To myWood managing director Philipp Rettenmeier, the take-over ideally rounds out the company’s existing product portfolio: “It is an important milestone in the development of our family business.” With that, PPplus brand boards for concrete products will from now on be manufactured by us, in addition to the formwork panels, formwork columns, pellets, and solid wood panels. The company myWood will present the new product at the Concrete Show in the Brazilian economic hot spot São Paulo in August. In September, the company will be presented at Bauma Africa in Johannesburg with its own stand.
