Franz Ludwig GmbH: New product line FL-Mobimic SlimLine

Franz Ludwig GmbH located in Mainz (Germany) will present their newly developed product line FL-Mobimic SlimLine at bauma, booth C1/402. According to the manufacturer, the very core of the system is the smallest microwave moisture probe of its kind. At an overall height of just 29 mm and a diameter of 75 mm, the extremely slim probe allows installation even under very restricted space conditions. An integrated temperature sensor extends the sensor's spectrum of functions by another process parameter.

A new generation of probes for wireless measuring

The voltage supply of the probe is either possible via the 24V control voltage of the process control system or even via a battery pack. The very low power consumption in battery operation ensures a long operation time with one charging. Furthermore, it is possible to supply the probe via an USB port of any commercially available computer - this extends the range of applications and allows using the probe, for instance, in network-independent laboratory equipment.

At the same time, the new generation of probes is part of the product line FL-Mobimic for wireless moisture, temperature and consistency measurement via Bluetooth data transmission technology. The combination of the probe with a transmitting and receiving unit allows the use in stationary mixers with rotating trough, ready mix trucks and moving bulk containers.
