Design principles at the core of the document – what to comply with?

The DAfStb Guideline on Waterproof Concrete Basements

The relevant subcommittee of the German Committee for Structural Concrete has drafted an update on the Guideline on Waterproof Concrete Basements [2] fourteen years after publication of its original, November 2003 edition [1].

The revised document includes adjustments to subsequent modifications of European and national codes and standards. Even more importantly, it incorporates new findings derived from pertinent research as well as more detailed guidance on the design and use of waterproof concrete basements for premium-quality applications.
