More than 2.5 km of precast bridge beams per week from Banagher, Ireland

Banagher Precast Concrete Ltd. has been in business for more than 50 years. The company has become one of the leading manufacturers of precast elements for civil engineering and building construction on the British Isles. On the occasion of a site visit to Banagher, Central Ireland, BFT editor accompanied the Technical Director Peter Deegan, who is currently also Chairman of the Irish Precast Concrete Technical Group.

For more than 50 years, Banagher Precast Concrete Ltd. (Bancrete) has been producing precast elements for civil engineering and building construction. The company is headquartered in Banagher, Ireland, and operates a subsidiary in Norfolk, England. Bancrete has the capacity to prefabricate more than 2,500 m of bridge beams per week. Element lengths of up to 45 m are possible. Thus, the business has the largest manufacturing facilities in this sector on the British Isles.
