Load-bearing precast elements – constructional and creative
Information Center Concrete (IZB – InformationsZentrum) and the Association of German Precast Construction (FDB – Fachvereinigung Deutscher Betonfertigteilbau) will organize two seminars on the topic „Load-bearing structures made of precast concrete elements – constructional and creative“ in October.
On the occasion of the seminar, experts will comment on various aspects, for example, which are the requirements on the concrete composition due to the design and how thermal bridges in precast façades can be calculated with the aid of the design atlas for building construction (Planungsatlas Hochbau). A very efficient system for the erection of buildings will be presented with the prefabricated modular units. Whether colored, textured or even photo concrete – a lecture on architectural concrete will give an overview on the wide variety of options for the designing of concrete façades. In addition to this, practical examples will be used to address the precast construction method in the field of large logistics buildings.
Participation/Dates
The seminar „Load-bearing structures made of precast concrete elements – constructional and creative“ is directed to architects, planners and building contractors, private and public sector clients as well as people involved in teaching, research and training who want to deepen their knowledge in the field of construction with precast concrete elements.
The events will take place in Chemitz on October 16, 2018, and in Braunschweig on October 20, 2018.
