Leading supplier of machinery and plant systems invests in Stassfurt, Germany

The plant engineering company Weckenmann GmbH & Co. KG, based in the German federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg, is investing around 3.2 million euros in the extension of its location in Saxony-Anhalt, which will create and secure 25 jobs. “We are very pleased that we are now able to realize our expansion plans in a modern location here in Stassfurt-Brumby,” says Wolfgang Weckenmann, Managing Director of Weckenmann GmbH & Co. KG.

Weckenmann Anlagentechnik GmbH & Co.KG was founded in 1957 in Dormettingen in the German federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg. With its workforce of around 140 and annual sales of over 30 million euros, the company is a leading international manufacturer and developer of machinery and plant systems for production of large-size and structural precast concrete elements for residential and industrial construction. The medium-sized family company  collaborates worldwide with establishments and sales partners and exports about 85 % of its production -  with Russia, France, India, the U.A.E., Thailand, and the USA atop the list of the importing countries. The product portfolio includes turnkey production plants for manufacture of precast elements.
