Introduction of granule portfolio at Bauma customer event

The entire construction industry is looking to Munich from April 11 to 17, as the Bauma will open its gates there. In parallel to the trade fair, Cathay organizes a customer event at the Novotel München Messe hotel on 13th of April from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., in order to introduce the new iron oxide granules of the brand Cathaygran. Guests from various regions are invited to the event.

“A short time ago, we have introduced our new range of the spray-dried Cathaygran granules. Now, we are expanding this product line rapidly. Our customers will benefit from the state-of-the-art granule quality,” says Terence Yu, global CEO of Cathay Industries. According to the manufacturer, the pigments of this product line are characterized by excellent flow properties, fastness as well as outstanding tinting strength.

Application in concrete products and precast elements

The Cathaygran granules are used in the production of paving blocks, precast concrete elements, ready-mixed concrete and other applications. As they are manufactured with a minimum of additives, it is always possible to combine them with additions such as efflorescence reducer or color enhancer, without any interactions. The excellent flow properties of the granules allow the use of any kind of metering system – either manual or automated – without any problems. The pigments can even be used in sensitive working environments: thanks to their specific particle size they ensure clean and dust-free processing. This avoids harmful formation of dust during the production process.

Cathay has storage sites in Germany as well as in many other European countries and other regions. In this way, a fast delivery service is guaranteed.
