Concrete Canoe Regatta 2017 in Cologne

On 9th June 2017, the Concrete Canoe Regatta will take place again for the 16th time already – this time at the Fühlinger See regatta course in Cologne.

The participants come from universities of applied sciences, universities and other institutions, where concrete engineering is taught. Before the competition, they have to work together with their instructors to solve the tricky task of building a canoe made of concrete that is sturdy and impermeable to water and also withstands the harsh conditions of a race.
