On-site quality control for concrete is well established in reinforced concrete construction. Simple standard tests, which can be carried out by a lot of material testing institutes, allow for an evaluation of the material properties in a purposeful way, throughout the construction process. The characteristic values of reinforcing steel are already monitored at the steel works. However, usually no tests are carried out for the composite material reinforced concrete.
