Alsatian company TPE builds on PrefaMax

Alsace is one of the key areas for transporting precast elements. The region is home to several manufacturers – among them the highly regarded and internationally renowned company Fehr. The elements are used for a wide range of applications, for example, for prefabricated houses, industrial halls and sound barriers. TPE (Transports Pfeiffer Edouard) is one of the companies engaged for transporting the large concrete elements from Fehr to the various construction sites. TPE is excellently equipped for this task. For this purpose, TPE uses several varieties of the concrete inloaders from Faymonville’s PrefaMax –series.

For that reason, TPE uses, among others, a telescopic PrefaMax-A 9500. With PrefaMax-A 9500 precast elements that exceed the standard length can be safely transported. The loading space can be extended to a maximum length of 13,500 mm. In this way, TPE can avoid problematic transports with open rear wall, in addition to guaranteeing correct load distribution on the suitable vehicle length.
