LC8/9 D0.725

A very lightweight building material for praxis

In the last few years, lightweight concretes of grade LC12/13 D1.2 have been most commonly used for structural lightweight concretes with thermal insulating properties; however, they often reached their limits because of the wall thickness required for thermal insulation purposes. The lightweight concrete LC8/9 D0,725 presented will extend the limits of what is feasible. The concrete mix design was essentially developed by the concrete laboratory of Heidelberg Beton Munich with the collaboration of Materials Institute of the Bundeswehr University Munich, to be used at first for the residential...
