RPL Slab Saw with Chamfer Grinding and Chamfer Blasting Function

 The RPL slab saw with chamfer and blasting function markedly reduces the setup costs of a production machine, allowing at the same time the creation of 100% identical surfaces of small formats obtained from the original slabs. This enables a mechanical production of small formats, e.g. 400 x 200 mm or 500 x 250 mm from the 400 x 400 mm and 500 x 500 mm standard slabs.

New is that the smaller product retains the properties of the basic slab, i.e. both sawing and chamfering of the sawed side as well as additional blasting of the sawed side, providing and ensuring in this way a uniform and constant surface of the different formats. The objective is now and before: “cast from the same mold.”

For older slab production facilities in particular – tamped or hermetic products that require complex setup work – it’s worthwhile to continue their main production, e.g. 400 x 400 mm or 500 x 500 mm rather than interrupting the process for the manufacture of smaller...
