Z-Laser Optoelektronik Gmbh - manufacturer of line lasers and laser projectors for positioning applications extend their product portfolio by a laser and another product family of lasers.

Exact positioning with the help of laser projections is an indispensable aid for the acceleration of work routines in all industrial branches. The well visible laser projections serve as a reference-marking tool. With this reference one can manage an exact and quick adjustment between material and machine for placing of a work piece to the exact position of a machine. 2D laser projections are used in CNC router applications to project any contour, pattern or polygon on all stone surfaces. Additionally, they can project single letters or numbers, e.g. to define a special projection pattern more precisely. The use of laser projectors shortens production time and increases production quality by avoiding faults. A laser projector can be integrated into any manufacturing process without any problems. It receives the necessary data for the projection directly from the CAD-data, which in turn is used by the CNC router. The laser projector is primarily used to optimize the utilization of the material when aligning the work pieces on the raw material properly, as well as being used for positioning vacuum pods or displaying the milling contour of work pieces. To align CNC vacuum pods optimally, both, the contour of the raw material and the contours of the vacuum pods can be displayed by the laser projector.

One of the most important core competences consists on account of the many years‘ experience and in working out unique customer solutions for special demands or tricky tasks. The enterprise presents at the beginning of this year again new products for the stone industry – Z M18-B as well as the Z M12 product family. ■
