Concrete pavers for Regina

368,000 pavers manufactured by German precast producer Klostermann were transported to Canada in containers by truck, ship and train. Today, they add to the aesthetic appeal of a central square in the city of Regina.


Crazy! Risky! Impossible! These are obvious reactions when imagining that concrete pavers should overcome a distance of 8,500 km from the precast plant to the construction site, crossing the Atlantic and several borders. Does it make economic sense to transport such a product that far, which is relatively simple in technological terms but quite heavy in large quantities?
