Illustrious names in concrete

In the spring the new headquarters of RAG Montan Immobilien was inaugurated on a UNESCO world heritage site in Essen/Germany. A special highlight of the building is the base cladding of architectural concrete elements. The names of all RAG Montan Immobilien’s projects were incorporated into the facade.

In the spring, after 15 months of construction, the new headquarters of RAG Montan Immobilien was inaugurated on the site of the former coking plant of the Zollverein, a UNESCO world heritage site in Essen, Germany. The new, two-part building has a glass cross-brace and accommodates numerous offices and conference rooms. It has enough space for 250 employees. A special design highlight of the building is the base cladding of architectural concrete elements. Using flexible plastic matrices, the names of all of RAG Montan Immobilien’s projects were artistically incorporated into the façade.
