New mixing technology

No stumbling block

 To meet the standards of high quality concrete, the paving block plant of Kann GmbH (in Schweich/Germany) has been upgraded with the most up to date mixing technology.

In the past a pan mixer had been used for the manufacture of both face and base concrete. This no longer met the standards of the required high quality concrete.

The requirements of the mixing plant were clearly defined. Kann GmbH was looking for a solution where the manufacturing of face and base concrete to the highest quality was guaranteed. The paving block production had to be reliable, fast and profitable. The plant had to be flexible enough to react to a change in product range and customer demands.

Storage, as well as the dosage and weighing of the raw materials play an important part....
