Anniversary Edition

This issue is very special – as you may already have guessed from its silver-colored cover. This technical magazine of ours has existed now for many decades, and this year we are happy to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

The first issue of the “Betonstein-Zeitung” – the Cast Stone Magazine – appeared in July of 1935. It was published then by the Zement-Verlag G.M.B.H. The foreword of this premier issue announced: “We shall publish our monthly magazine “Deutsche Kunststein- und Zementwaren-Zeitung” – German Artificial Stone and Cement-Products Magazine – under the new title “Betonstein-Zeitung”...
